ABOUT US...
At North Star School, students receive so much more than an ordinary education. We pride ourselves on creating a unique, exciting, learning environment that embraces all types of learners and promotes growth both academically and personally.
Students, families and professionals are welcomed into a dynamic, collaborative and supportive community.
As an Alternative Provider, we can provide up to 13 hours a week of Secondary and Specialist Education for children and young people. We offer lessons in all areas of the National Curriculum including Functional Skills and GCSE delivery, Directors have designed Intervention Programmes to support students to reengage back into education, and we also offer two personal development courses in Early Years Teaching and Childcare, and Dog Grooming.
Our provision has two methods of delivery; On-site delivery at Centre AT7, and Online delivery through Microsoft Teams. All of our Core Curriculum courses are suitable for online delivery, as well as delivery in centre. Online lessons are taught through Microsoft Teams, students receive their own log in details to access their lessons and teaching staff are always present to deliver the session. Specialist programmes, and our MPP Intervention Programme are delivered in the Stars Room at the AT7 Centre, Coventry.
Management and Teaching Staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe environment for all students and young people. Specialist staff work closely with students to build positive relationships, and help identify strengths and areas of development. Staff are kept up to date with relevant guidance and training.
